Traffic/detours on Castle Shannon Boulevard and Mount Lebanon Boulevard.
Castle Shannon Boulevard is not shut down, only detoured:
Gulisek Construction has begun work on State Route 3037, Castle Shannon Boulevard between Willow Avenue and Scott Road.
Currently, they are working between Willow Ave. and Mt. Lebanon Blvd. using short-term traffic patterns controlled by flaggers.
Beginning the week of September 9th, they will start work between Scott/Sunset and Mt. Lebanon Boulevard. This work will occur between 9am and 3pm Monday through Friday.
Additionally, beginning September 13th and occurring for three weekends (weather dependent and skipping the weekend of 9/20), starting 8pm Friday, a single direction detour will be implemented between Mt. Lebanon Blvd. and Scott Road. Traffic travelling south/east (from Dormont/Mt. Lebanon towards Castle Shannon) will be detoured via Rt. 19 to Mt. Lebanon Boulevard and then back to Castle Shannon Boulevard. Traffic travelling north/west (from Castle Shannon towards Dormont/Mt. Lebanon) will not be impacted. The detour will be removed and traffic restored to its normal operations no later than 6am Monday Morning.
